Exemple：

1.Cette fille manque totalement de fantaisie.

That girl is totally lacking in originality.

这一女生彻底沒有原创性。

2.La vie de bureau laisse pas de place à la fantaisie.

There is little room for the unexpected in office life. (Office life is

monotonous / uneventful.)

办公室里的一切都是墨守陈规的，不能容忍一点心血来潮, 闲来无事。

3.Cet enfant est très gâté. Sa mère lui passe toutes ses fantaisies

(pl).

That child is very spoilt. His mother gives in to his every whim.

那小孩真给宠坏了。哪些天马行空的怪念头他妈妈都同意他。

Exemple:

1.Elle porte un joli bijou fantaisie.

She was wearing novelty jewelry.

她佩戴着时尚的饰品。

2.Cette piscine est une fantaisie coûteuse.

That swimming pool is a wasteful extravagance.

建那样的(奢华)游泳馆，简直有钱了烧的呀。

“Fantaisie”还可以是褒义词。文艺创作就必须摆脱基本，跳出来桎梏，异想天开，率性而为，肖邦那首*的《升C小调幻想即兴曲》就叫“Fantaisie

Impromptu”。朋友们都听过吧?

而现代英语的“fantasy”则主要是“主观性想象，幻想”( fantasme，

imagination)，注重“虚无缥缈，不真正，无实际根据”，常含有贬义词。

Exemple：

1.His mind is full of fantasies about becoming famous.

Il a des rêves de gloire.

他一天到晚幻想着成家立业。

2.Many people are reluctant to talk about their sexual fantasies.

Beaucoup de gens répugnent à parler de leurs fantasmes sexuels.

大家一般都不肯谈起自身的性幻想。

3.That is pure fantasy. None of it really happened at all.

C’est de la pure imagination. Rien de tout cela n’est arrivé.

这都单纯是幻想，没真实产生过。

4.Some children have difficulty in distinguishing fantasy from reality.

Certains enfants ne font pas bien la différence entre l’imaginaire et le

réel.

有一些少年*分不清楚想象与实际。

5.We all perform brave deeds in fantasy from time to time.

Nous accomplissons tous de temps à autre des actes courageux en

imagination.

大家都是会有时候想象自身做出英雄人物的创举。

法文的“fantaisie”主要是对性情，气场的点评，而英文的“fantasy”则偏重于对客观事实，对真伪的分辨。想到一下美国人有点儿不理智的“艺术大师气场”，英国有点儿冷酷的“观念形态”，是否有利于区别这一对“假朋友”呢?
