Une femme de ménage

不必把题目误会成“女主管”(directrice, 或是gestionnaire):实际上 ménage 和 manage 一点关联都没有。

Ménage is household or housework, as in faire le ménage: to do the

housework.

法语的 ménage 意为“家”，“(一户)别人”或“家务活”。

比如：

法：Un ménage de cinq personnes.

英：A household of 5 people.

中：五口之家

法：Il y a une dizaine de ménages dans cet immeuble.

英：There are about a dozen households in this building.

中：在这栋房子内住有十来户别人。

题目 Une femme de ménage，并不是家庭主妇(ménagère)，只是雇来干家务活的女人，便是小*姆，清扫工，钟点工啦。

英语是 cleaning lady. 如果是专业扫洗手间的，还有一个词：dame-pipi.

留意： “femme de ménage”和“女仆”并不太一样哟!日文的メイド(女仆)是以英语的 maid来的,(法语的女仆是bonne,

domestique。)他们一般是全职的工作中，住主人。“女仆”的品牌形象年青,好看，讨人喜欢，好像都不干粗工作的。(日本女*想要扮成 femme de ménage

假如一对情侣搬到一起同住，用法语说便是“se mettre en ménage” (to set up house together)，

有翻译成“共谱爱屋”啦。但是，如果是三个人呢?

法语里有一个短语：Ménage à trois：并不是“三口之家”(un ménage de 3 personnes)。 It describes a

domestic arrangement in which three people having sexual relations occupy the

same household.

许多人翻译成“三人行”。便是影片“乱世三人行(Head in the Clouds)”里那类“三人同居”的关联。

留意：不必和“三角恋”(love triangle, amour triangulaire) 弄混哟。(越说越乱掉!^v^)

Ménage 的动词形式是 ménager。形容词 ménager 和 to manage (管理方法) 不相干,

只是关注，照顾(他人)，考虑到周到的意思。

Ménager is not to manage, gérer, but to show care and consideration when

dealing with an individual or organization.

比如：

法：Qui veut voyager loin ménage sa monture.

英：Take good care of your horse if you want to travel a long distance.

中：[谚]路遥惜座骑。
